Summer Sewing
I made this shirt by tracing a top I have from Old Navy. Front and back w/dolman sleeves I rolled up. Hips didn't fit so I added slits to the sides. The fabric is breathable cotton from a fabric trade I made with an India-based Etsy shop. So far, my favorite piece of clothing I've made for myself. Ok, now that I look at these photos, it looks like a scrubs top. : (
Using two Aneela Hoey fat quarters, some Andalucia yardage, and minkee, I made this child's blanket for a 2-year old daughter of our friends in Cali.
Making this girls' bag made me want to make a bag for myself.
This collapsible fabric bin is for my dad's cds or dvds or train stuff. It's for Father's Day. My dad's not into sailing or anything, just thought this fabric was "fatherly." I used this tute from Sew4Home.com.
That's not the last of my summer, sewing, I'll be back with more. Toodles...
